Ordering & Shipping FAQ

I'd like the same design my friend ordered but can't find it.
Email me with your friend's name and the description of the product. I will assist you in finding the item or placing an order.

Are discounts available for large quantities?
Generally, yes. Submit a custom order request with product, size, quantity and date needed. You will be contacted by email with pricing.

You seem to specialize in small sizes. Why?
Supply and demand! Most of my clients prefer smaller sizes because they use thier products for advertising, children's treats, invitiations or gifts. The sizes offered on the order form are the sizes ordered most often. If you need a larger size, simply submit a custom order request.

Can you make different sizes?
Yes, most requests can be accomodated. If you need a special size, simply submit a custom order request for the product and you will be contacted with a new total to accomodate your needs.

What if I want another coordinating product?
The wonderful thing about the order form is that it allows you to start with your art selection and customize all products to match at one time! If you need a special product not listed or a special size, simply submit a custom order request for the product after placing your order and you will be contacted with a new total to accomodate your needs.

Can I mix and match ideas from your samples?
Of course! Products are created to your specifications. You may use your own wording or wording from any samples shown on my site.

What is the difference in miniature and nugget size candy bars?
At the bottom of each product order form, there is a photo showing the two candy bars. Click here to view product descriptions and photos.

Do you sell the candy already wrapped or only the wrappers?
Generally, only wrappers are sold. This saves you shipping and labor costs. It also prevents chocolate from melting in the mail. Large orders will be assembled for a fee. For this service, you need to submit a custom order request for pricing. The only exception to this is for mintbooks. Mintbooks will be shipped already assembled.

What if I want another product that coordinates with my wrappers?
The wonderful thing about the order form is that it allows you to start with your art selection and customize all products to match at one time! If you need a special product or a special size, simply submit a custom order request for the product after placing your order and you will be contacted with a new total to accomodate your needs.

How do I assemble my personalized candy bars?
It is easy to wrap right over the chocolate bar! First, start with clean, dry hands in a cool area to avoid melting. Place the section of the wrapper with the art on the top of the candy. Fold the the sides of the wrappers around the candy. If applying miniature wrappers, you will need to apply glue from a glue stick or double sided tape in the area marked on the wrapper. Pull the other side of the wrapper snug, lightly creasing around the sides and overlap the area marked for gluing. Be sure the art and text are aligned evenly and make adjustments before final placement.

What is the best way to store and handle the candy?
You should avoid storing chocolate in the refrigerator as it easily absorbs smells of food. This also applies to storing near anything that does give off an odor (i.e.: in a closet near laundry detergents, paint, flowers etc.) Avoid any moisture or sudden temperature changes.

What if the chocolate melts?
Chocolate melts at 87 degrees. If this should happen, simply allow the bars to harden at a cool room temperature. DO NOT FREEZE bars as this will cause the bars to turn white and look like they are coated in powder. This does not affect the taste, but it does not look appealing. Bars can be placed in the refrigerator, but it is not necessary. Avoid placing in the refrigerator if at all possible after wrapping candy. Condensation can form on the wrappers when returning to room temperature and can be unattractive.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Personal Checks, Money Orders and PayPal.

Is your website secure to use my credit card for a purchase?
Yes, you can purchase with ease with our secure checkout.

Is there an alternative to paying by credit card?
Absolutely! You may pay with your PayPal account or by mailing a check or money order. For your convenience, a printable Mail In Order Form will be posted on this site in the near future. Please be aware that mailing payment will delay delivery of your order. Orders are not processed until payment arrives. Use the pay by check or money order option at checkout and send to: Michele Barber / Chele's Treasures, P.O. Box 1701, Paris, Tx 75461

Do you ship outside the United States?
Not at this time. Due to multiple requests, I hope to include international orders in the near future.

How will my order be shipped?
Most orders ship via US Postal Service. UPS may be used for large orders.

How long will it take before I receive my order?
After your order is processed, delivery may range from 4 to 15 business days depending on your location. Any order that is paid by check will not be processed until the check clears. Because of this, delivery of your order may take longer to arrive.
